The CCTIA successfully held the “2023 Annual Board Meeting and Member Workshop”

On August 31st, 2023, the Canada-China Trade Innovation Alliance (CCTIA) successfully held the “2023 Annual Board Meeting and Member Workshop” in Richmond Hill, which had laid a solid foundation for future exchanges and cooperation between member companies.

At the beginning of the event, the chair of the CCTIA gave an overview of the past and recent contributions made by the CCTIA in supporting the development of communities/member companies and shared with the attendees the strategic development plan of the CCTIA. Subsequently, CCTIA directors and advisors from multi-ethnicity and various industries introduced their current businesses and development visions, and had a joint discussion on how to deal with the post-epidemic challenges faced in business development and the sustainable business development model. Following that, everyone collectively discussed and explored potential opportunities that can facilitate exchange and cooperation between CCTIA member companies.

After the board meeting, the CCTIA community partner, the owner of Venture X, introduced the novel concept of shared space office to all attendees and led an office tour at Venture X of the multi-type rentable shared space offices.

In the second phase of event, CCTIA was honored to invite the Dale Carnegie Training Toronto & Maritimes, a professional training institution to give a coaching workshop on “Transformative Leadership: Cultivating Resilience and Connecting with Challenges”. During the workshop, CCTIA members actively engaged in the coaching and conducted in-depth discussions on how to generate, develop, and improve leadership and deal with the day-to-day increasingly complex challenges.

To date, CCTIA has successfully held 9 consecutive annual member meetings since 2015, providing an active communication and exchange platform for its member companies and, in the meantime, supporting and promoting the cooperation and development of member companies. CCTIA will continue to provide its members with diversified sharing, exchange and cooperation opportunities and dedicate itself to promote the increase of local economic development.
